I’d like you to meet Oscar the bionic cat! He lost both rear legs in an argument with a combine harvester, and his owners Kate and Mike went through a lot of soul-searching before undertaking pioneering surgery for bionic implants. They were concerned the operation wouldn’t have been in Oscar’s best interest or give him a better quality of life.

When you love a pet it’s hard to make such radical decisions, but after Kate and Mike researched the operation and learned it could influence human medicine, they decided to take a chance. This heartwarming video shows Oscar back on his “feet” for the first time.
I love seeing this stuff, and knowing there’s people out there willing to go the extra mile for their pet.
