By-products seem to dominate these foods, both 2nd and 4th ingredients in the food. By-products used to be the main ingredient but they’ve swapped that for chicken which is a slight improvement. They say the first one isn’t SO bad because it’s only organs, a source of arginine, but I really still don’t want to see this as an ingredient.
The main grain in the food is corn which is a poor choice, with the only positive being it isn’t a heavily grain loaded food. We also find brewers yeast, a waste product from the brewing industry.
Looking on the bright side, we find the inclusion of flaxseed and a range of vitamins and minerals. Other than the by-products and grains there’s nothing else startingly bad in the food.
Personally I’d save my money on this one, it just has too little going for it. They have a grain free food as well which is a better alternative.
Where to buy?
